How to file a story with City News USA

Community leaders, activists, educators, etc. may file stories with City News via E-Mail. or by calling: 630-848-0750. By doing so you are agreeing for City News USA to post your submission on our Web site for our viewers and members to use.

Professional news reporters and freelancers are paid on a per story basis. We ask for a sample story, written in broadcast style, and a brief resume. Prevailing news stringer rates will be supplied upon request.

Reporters who contribute frequent stories may be given a special password to upload stories directly to our site via FTP. This allows anyone with Internet access to file breaking stories that can be made available to Illinois news outlets immediately, increasing the possibility of "scooping" other reporters and media outlets.
